Export to other countries (than EU Member states)

Exporting plants must be approved according to the requirements of the country of destination, consignments must besides be accompanied by official (animal and / or public) health certificates. The cantonal authorities are in charge of  both processes. It is however the dury of the exporter to find out the import conditions of the country of destination (the "usefull addresses for exports" right on this page might help to look for the competent authority), and to submit the required certificates to the cantonal authority for approval and signing. If approval or endorsement by the national authority is required, the cantonal authorities forward the documents to the Federal veterinary office.
Please contact the competent cantonal authority (see box "Contacts").
